Glenn’s Auto Repair is a family owned and operated business. In addition, we are a licensed Napa Car Care Center, which provides our customers with the honesty and dependability of a small business along with the warranty of a national chain. We work on Asian and American cars and trucks, and most European vehicles. We do anything from basic oil changes to complex engine replacements.
Customer service is a high priority at Glenn’s Auto Repair. We know that car troubles can be frustrating and getting back on the road fast is essential. It is important that our customers know what is needed on their cars and why; including them in the auto repair process. Auto shops have been labeled as having bad reputations, and it is our goal to change this image and prove that there is honesty and integrity in the auto repair industry.
History
After operating another local shop for 5 years Glenn opened his own shop in September of 1998. Glenn feels he is lucky to have been trained in public school rebuilding his first engine, a 350 Oldsmobile V8, at Aptos Junior High in 1976. He later assembled most of the shop equipment and continued with auto repair electives throughout high school.
Our Team
Glenn’s Auto Repair currently has three employees in addition to Glenn. Meagan, Glenn’s daughter, has been with the business since 2006. At first intimidated by the idea of working in a typically male dominated field, she has learned a great deal about auto repair and is able to answer automotive questions she never thought she would. In addition to answering phones and helping customers with their questions, Meagan also manages our mechanics in making sure vehicles are inspected promptly, orders parts, and works with our suppliers.
Bret and Misael make up the team that repairs all the vehicles that come through Glenn’s Auto Repair. Bret has been with the business since 2002. He has his ASE Master Certification which gives him certification in the following areas: engine repair and performance, automatic and manual transmission diagnosis, suspension and steering, electrical systems, heating and A/C systems, and brakes. Misael has been a part of the business since 2006. His specialties include and are not limited to: transmission and engine replacement, complete brake systems, clutches and starting and charging systems.
